Time- A sermon



How many people can say that they have enough time in their lives to accomplish the things they want to? Heck, how many people can say they have time in one day to achieve this goal. We create our own agendas and create our own time lines but what do we do with this time?
I am the biggest purveyor of time not well spent. I create different scenarios that change my direction to achieve certain goals. When a mind isn’t focused we lose a sense of time. We don’t accomplish the goals or agendas that we send out.
Think of how when we meditate we clear all from our mind and open ourselves to the present moment and the present time. ADD or ADHD is a condition when our minds get distracted easily. The best way I can put it is in the movie UP the dog keeps getting distracted by a squirrel in mid-sentence. We all have our squirrel moments. We all have times when we lose our focus. It is what we do to redirect ourselves to the right path.
My week has been about missing and forgetting appointments. My focus was on things that I had no control over. I spent time on things that could have used less time focusing on. It has been a true eye opener for me as I have had to realize that I let go of control of my life and didn’t live in the now to see and plan my events in my life.
How can I understand and grow from this? How can I help others to stay on their path and to stay on living their life in the moment? How can I not be overwhelmed when life throws a lot at me and I have to delineate the information and get all of it organized?
I have realized it is about taking the moment to see the position you are in and seeing the reason for why we are in that situation. The bottom line on this is that it is about taking a step into your moment in time. Remember that we radiate in our own world and time is a concept wholly to ourselves in our own world.
Time truly is a concept. If you look at life, at your life, my life, the person’s life next to you, you will find out that when we all were younger we all wanted to grow up faster. We all wanted time to move faster. Because we had goals in a way. We wanted to be bigger or older, we wanted to go to school or the next grade. We usually lose this frame of mind as we become a certain age. Why? Because time starts to go by incredibly fast. We try to keep ourselves in the moment and deal with life’s issues and make plans but we get distracted and our focus goes to the things we have no control over. We lose the “Moment” we lose the time we have for ourselves and life’s path. We have all felt lost through our lives at one point or another. We all have wondered where we were heading or what we are doing or what we are supposed to do.
We all never worried about the next moment when we were younger, we wanted to be something and realized we had to wait for it. When was the last time we put a ¼, ½ or ¾ after our age like when were kids?
There is an old saying, “Life happens while you’re making other plans”. We become so engrossed with our events, issues, and trying to control our lives, we lose the path we are on. If we take the Master Metaphysician’s life and look at it, he lived in the moment, Jesus was never ahead of himself, he never had issues stop him from staying on his path. He never let the idea of being betrayed or his life being sacrificed for us to stop him from living his life each day and in each moment.
I call this part, “part 2”: How movies have been made where a person is given the gift of seeing where their life has come from where it is and where it is heading and the chance to making adjustments. Whether you have 30 mins. Or 30 years left on this planet it is about how you experience your time. How you use your energy to make the most of time.
We have the opportunity to create our own future, change the way we see and handle our time. As I had said earlier time is just a concept. It is a linear why to track or organize our existence. If we were here for infinity, we would not have to pack all the accomplishments into a block of time, or we wouldn’t have to worry about getting things done by sets of priorities. Why? Because we would know that we would have time to create the time needed to achieve whatever it might be.
As Metaphysicians we have the knowledge and understanding on how to live in the moment. We have the ability to bring our energy into a balanced state. If this moment now is where you doors open or doors close and we are in the now we are able to accept that this is what is needed in our path. When we live in the now we can understand what we need to grow and move forward. I was able to live in the moment and organize myself so I may become more organized and in the moment.

The steps I have found to live with time as an ally are:
1) Take the time each day to center yourself. You will be able to create and balanced agenda for the day, week, month, or year. Whatever you need.
2) If you feel you are being pulled in many directions find your self-worth, self-security, or your own inner power to bring you back to your center. This can be used in any situation you might be faced with.
3) If you fall off, or become estranged from your path allow the journey to happen. There is a reason. If your living in the moment. Living in your time than there is a lesson or an experience that is needed.
4) We all have agendas and paths and families and work to attend to but it is how we plan or create the way we experience this times that delineate if we enjoy and experience these things or they become a task or chore. Find your understanding of time and experience life’s pleasures through that.

As this sermon started out in the physical level with dealing with issues and then transcended to a spiritual or metaphysical level so do every lesson or problem we face has the ability to do also.

Connecting to Spirit


The understandings that a lot of people are going through right now is opening our energies and selves to the information on the Other Side. The Other Side does not only mean loved ones but also our guides. Our guides can be angels, passed over loved ones, and Ascended masters like Jesus, Buddha and so forth.

These guides come into our lives to help us through issues and to help point us in the right direction. When we are lost and we need a friend or support our guides come through in many different ways. They put somebody close to us to help us find thee peace or balance needed in our lives. They show us a direction we need to be in or that everything will be alright.

We are all evolving to a higher energy. We are all moving in a different direction. With so much change in our lives we don’t know sometimes what is best for us. How can we make the connection easier and clearer? Now, that is a big question. How can we ourselves connect to our loved ones on the other side? The  answer is quite easy and here it is:

When we want to connect to our guides or a loved one that has passed over, we first need to let go of an emotional attachment we have to the loved one and to the situation that is wanting us to connect to a guide.When we are going through life easily it is easy to connect to guides or loved ones because our mind is at ease and clear. The difficult time is when there is change and chaos in our lives.

It is quite simple to connect to your guides and loved ones on the other side. Here is how you can do both. When connecting to loved ones it is best to set this up before going to sleep. This allows you to connect in a safe positive environment. You get comfortable in your bed as you get ready to go to sleep. You ask the loved one you want to connect to to come to you in your sleep. You picture them in your mind and let the picture go. As you start to drift off see yourself wrapped in white light. This will protect you as you sleep. This might not work for the first couple of times for as you do this you are letting go of any emotional ties and allowing their entire energy to meet with yours in a dream/ethereal state. This is you having the ability to astral travel to where they want to meet you. Remember to take deep breaths through your nose and exhale out your mouth to bring relaxation into your body. As you breath in bring in love, peace, strength, balance, and positive. As you exhale you release all tensions, anxieties, fears, worries, and negativity.

You will be able to connect within 3 or 4 nights if not sooner. This if course is dependent upon how emotionally connect you are to that person.

To connect to your guides is quite similar but different. You find a nice quite place in your house or at a beach or in the woods. Find a nice comfortable sitting spot. Take a seat in your spot. The best way to do this at the same time and same place everyday as this will connect you to energies in a stronger way. To start take three deep breaths, bring in love, peace, harmony, strength, balance, and love. Exhaling negativity, worry, fear, anxiety. After the third breath you will feel your shoulders drop and your body becomes relaxed. Allow your mind to clear and acknowledge any thought as that come in and let them go. Feel your breathing become more relaxed and as you do see a white light come down and fill the room you are in. This is your protection, God/Universal energies filling the room you are in.

As you sit there and are completely relaxed you ask for the highest and best information and guide to come to you. As you sit there your guide will come to you with the information that is needed for you. You might not see a guide the first couple of times you do this but you should hear or feel the information come to you. It is OK to feel that it was your imagination that heard something or felt something. This is how they communicate.

Who are your Guides?


Who are My Guides?

I am always being asked how many guides do I have. Who are my guides? How can I connect to them? Can relatives or religious figures be Spirit Guides?

Spirit Guides are ethereal beings that come into our lives to help us with situations or difficulties in our lives. They are the gut feeling, the idea to do something better or easier, the voice of common sense. Our Spirit Guides are there to answer our questions. They want us to live the happiest, healthiest lives we possibly can.

“How many Spirit Guides do I have?” is a favorite question. You have many guides that work with you. They come in for all of life’s situations that you encounter. They can come to you in many different forms. They can be angels, elves, sprites, male, female, different forms, and religious figures. In the beginning of Modern Spiritualism they denoted 5 main guides.  These guides stay with you your entire life. They are the Joy Guide, Healer Guide, Protector Guide, Doctor Guide, and Master Guide.

The 5 main guides have a certain look and a specific energy. As with all the guides, when you connect to these guides you will know what they look like and what their energy feels like. It is important to know their energy so you know who is there. If you are having an issue with an emotional or physical issue, your Healing Guide is with you. If you are having an issue dealing with life and need to see the big picture, you can call on your Doctor Guide for help.

Here is a description of the 5 Main Guides that you have in your life:

The Joy Guide is the first guide to look at. The Joy Guide is also known as the “Gate Keeper”. This guide does not allow any guides or energies through that aren’t there for your highest and best. They also help when you are stressed or having troubles dealing with day to day life. They have an uplifting energy, They help you find humor is the darkest times.. The Joy Guide can appear as an elf, sprite, fairy, or even a childlike figure.

The Healing Guide is the next guide we will look at. The Healing Guide is the guide that helps when you need help with healing: physical, emotional, mental, and energetic. This guide also aids those healers when they are doing all types of energy and physical healings. These are the guides called upon when Reiki or other types of energy healing is done. They are with your doctors, nurse, and others in the medical field. The Healing Guides can appear as doctors, nurses, shamans, and any other healing individuals.


The Protector Guide- In Modern Spiritualism, the Protector Guide is also known as a Native American Guide. This is the guide that works to keep us safe. The feeling to not go into a place, stopping an extra second before we leave th stop sign, and waiting a few minutes before we leave the house an then realize we missed having an accident because we did. It is their job to make sure we are safe.  The Protector Guide can come in many different forms but the one most notable is of a native American, male or female, chief, warrior, or mother figure.

The Doctor Guide- This guide is the one that holds all of the wisdom and guidance to help you in your life’s path. They are the one that help you grow, see things in a better light, understand how to accomplish something without knowing where to start. They are your one stop for understanding and seeking information. The Doctor Guide can come as a male or female. They can be a doctor, nurse, or look similar to a college professor.

The last guide we will look at is the Master Guide. This Guide has not only been with you in this life but they have been with you in all of your past lives also. This guide holds all knowledge of your life path, your reason why you are here in this lifetime, It is very similar to having all the answers to all of your life questions and tests in one place. He also helps with closing issues from past lives. The Master Guide can appear in many forms including religious figure, family members ( as with all guides family members can be associated with that guide).

“How can I connect to my guides?” is the biggest question I get asked.  It is quite simple to answer. You can meditate to connect to your guides. Each guide has a specific place where you can meet them. When I do the Spirit Guide Workshop I take the class to those locations. You meet your guides rather than someone telling you who they are. Why is this important? So that  you know what they look like and how their energy feels so you know when they are around you. When you meditate, for example and want to meet your Doctor guide, find yourself traveling to a large office with a library of books and a desk in the center of the room with a high back chair behind the desk for your Doctor Guide and a chair in the front for you to sit. Allow your guide to appear to you. It is that simple.

Remember that life is free will. If you say “I am not hearing anything or connecting to one of my guides”, you might be blocking the information. You can always create a path for yourself in life and your guides will back you up. You do want to realize that when you want to come back to your original path they will be there for you also. Your guides always have your back. As the saying goes “When you see only one set of foot prints, it is not because you are alone, it is because I am carrying you”. Have faith and the guides will be there for you every time.



The guides learn from you as well as you from them. Some have led a physical life and some haven’t. Remember for every physical lesson you learn or every experience you have on this earth, the Universe and guides learn from it to. We are connected to the Source or Creator and with that we help the energies grow and learn. We are a part of other people’s paths and lessons as they are connected to us and ours.

How do you experience life? What is your connection to reality. We all are living a reality that is truly our own. If you think about how we see things and how we are connected to our thoughts they are truly ours. We are influenced by others in the way they might think but our thoughts are truly our own.

Experience is the knowledge we accumulate through our lives. Some people accumulate knowledge slowly and some acquire it quickly. Have you ever met a child that acts has says things that are way beyond her years? They have experienced and has drawn information from past lives. They experience life in as an adult in a child’s body.

We can experience Love, joy, pain, happiness, and contentment. It just means we need to access those parts of our souls. We release those emotions through the way experience different events in our lives.

Allow the experiences to be true and experience all parts of your life as it was the only time you can.

Thinking or Trusting


A Friend of mine took a poll of the people who over think their situations or opportunities and those who jump in. After looking at the question/poll I ended up with this answer.

When we think about the things we want over and over and over it is our brain making the decision, Even though it might be a physical event or situation we still need to connect to our True Selves and and feel the right thing at the right moment. Living in the moment means living through our True Selves and we can’t go wrong with that. Even though it might not work out the way we want it is the experience and the truth that we get out of it that makes the journey all the better.
